All about traffic generators.

Ever heard of the term “web traffic” or “traffic generator”? These terms are commonly associated with websites that help you get “hits” (or in lay man’s term, clicks) on your own personal page.

How does it work, and why does it work?

Signing up in traffic generator websites is beneficial only for those who have websites. You will have to “surf” (visit several websites that have signed up too on that traffic generator site) and earn credits. These traffic generator website prevent bots from permeating their system through manual surfing. Some websites like Hit Safari require you to click on animals (see example below):

This entails for manual clicking (no bots allowed). You have to click on the matching animal (encircled in red).

Like I have mentioned earlier, the website below the orange frame are websites that have signed up for a Hit safari account (they change every time you click on the animal). Your registered website too will be displayed here. The more you click on the animals, the more “credits” you get. You can use these credits for banner making and other site promotion techniques.
