Job and salary growth are good indicators of how well an employment market for a particular job is. Marketing is one of the fastest-growing industries today. But then, not all marketing-related jobs have improved when it comes to salary last year. Take for example the case internet marketers.

InternetRetailer.com reports that based on the data from Crandall Associates, Inc., the salary of internet marketers barely improved last year. For instance, the salary range for a search engine optimization manager that goes between $61,600 to $77,900 this year is almost similar to last year’s income range that goes between $61,400 to $77,900.

The slight increase is viewed to have been caused by the slowing US economy and the alleged internet maturity. This is sad news but let’s see what happens when America elects its new president in November. I’m sure there will be a big change.
