Internet Marketing Salaries Barely Improved Last Year

Saturday, April 10th, 2010

http://edukacija.com

Job and salary growth are good indicators of how well an employment market for a particular job is. Marketing is one of the fastest-growing industries today. But then, not all marketing-related jobs have improved when it comes to salary last year. Take for example the case internet marketers.

InternetRetailer.com reports that based on the data from Crandall Associates, Inc., the salary of internet marketers barely improved last year. For instance, the salary range for a search engine optimization manager that goes between $61,600 to $77,900 this year is almost similar to last year’s income range that goes between $61,400 to $77,900.

The slight increase is viewed to have been caused by the slowing US economy and the alleged internet maturity. This is sad news but let’s see what happens when America elects its new president in November. I’m sure there will be a big change.

In a nutshell, affiliate marketing is a type of online business that capitalizes on advertising to make sales. The setup is simple and works effectively at any given time. As an affiliate marketer, you advertise a product on the web. If someone gets interested and makes a purchase of the product being advertised, you earn a commission from your client.

To be an effective affiliate marketer, the first step is to publish a site or create one for free using domain hosting sites like Blogger. You also have to spend considerable amount of time in front of the computer to be able to locate clients that would be interested in advertising on your site. Writing skill is also a must since you have to reach out to clients and potential customers through your site.

Affiliate marketing offers a work from home job that guarantees incredible benefits. You just have to be organized, creative and hard working.

Net Audio Ads: a new breed of internet marketing.

Since the rise of internet’s popularity over time, companies have turned their heads to its direction. The internet indeed is a good vehicle if you wish to sell your products worldwide. Indeed many companies have tried different computer programs to create colorful banners, integrated their welcome pages with flash designs and so on and so forth. The problem with this is, some people tend to disregard the written texts or maybe click on “skip intro” just before the flash design starts.

Net Audio Ads has provided a new breed of marketing strategy on the internet. Instead of written ads (text), companies can now have their ads converted to a 5 second audio file. What’s good about this is that internet users can create an account in Net Audio Ads so that they could get the HTML coding of the ads player (played randomly), and paste it on their personal websites. Now you ask, why would they do that? Why would they want audio advertisements played on their websites? What benefit can they get from it?

The answer is simple. Net Audio Ads will pay you for every (paid) audio played on your website. That means, every time your website gets a “hit” (or page view/visit), Net Audio Ads pays you. Isn’t that sweet?

Lemon Law’s – What They Mean to you and Your Customers

Friday, December 26th, 2008

Lemon Laws
Mostly applied to car dealerships, they exist in other business though in different forms and descriptions. You as a sales or marketing personnel should be aware of such laws that do get revised from time to time. As with any other laws, ignorance is no excuse and information is vital to protect you and your company.
Products that are designed in developed countries normally have manufacturing facilities outside the country where labor costs are lower. This brings about issues regarding reliability and safety for though the initial designs were of standard, the manufacturer may have cut corners as with the recent incidents with Mattel and other manufacturers who suffered huge recalls due to sub-standard materials and practices. Top management should be made aware of such issues should you find out and customer safety is of utmost importance so do calls and inform your customers of such events to maintain your image and not fall victim to such practices.

The Importance of the HR and Legal Department

There are a handful of basic labor laws that do generally protect U.S. workers. It’s probably fair to say that most employers adhere to these basic labor laws, because they’d be darned foolish if they do not apply it and if they want to stay out of court. But, that’s typically the job of those in the HR and legal-department levels, where the employees are properly trained in such matters. The companies are also made up of other employees, who might never have heard of these basic labor laws or fully understand their significance. That’s one way problems occur, especially if HR and legal departments don’t bother to properly train those in control, like jerky bosses. Another way problems occur is that, for obvious legal reasons, HR and legal departments are unlikely to openly admit that employee complaints and accusations have merit, and the company is liable. Worse, they might even protect the perpetrators more than the victims.

How does Google Adsense work and how can EVERYONE benefit from it?

Have you seen those little white banners on the side, on top or at the bottom of websites you’ve visited before? Those little banners are called (Google) Adsense. Although there are already lots of internet marketing companies who have embarked on this kind of marketing strategy, Google has been the most successful company in this kind of advertising (almost all website owners get Google Adsense for their web pages).

So, what is Google Adsense, really? Well, these little banners rely on keyword search basically. Assuming you have an Adsense installed on your website (through HTML coding) and your website talks about weight loss procedures. Your website then will send a message to Google that “hey, my website talks about weight loss procedures”, and Google then will return back your query with different weight loss websites.

This actually works best if your website is not protected to search engines (meaning, your website or blog for that matter, is searchable in search engines). If a person enters “weight loss procedures” in the search box and your website comes up, he/she will click on it. If for example, he/she got interested on the websites posted on your banner, then that person will click on it—just like the spider system (plus, you get paid for every click a person makes on your Adsense!).

Research: Internet TV Drives Direct Purchase

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

According to Wikipedia, Internet TV is television distributed using the Internet. Basically, it gives people the freedom to choose the shows they prefer to watch. Internet TV is a low-investment service as it relies on existing infrastructure such as wi-fi, cable and satellite to operate. This is what makes it a sought-after service by other service providers and content owners in search of potential clients.

A new research conducted by the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) has identified Internet TV as the most powerful medium in generating a direct purchase. Actually, there were 2,000 respondents asked about direct communications and how they react to them. Research results showed that the top three direct media that can easily persuade people to make a direct purchase are Internet TV, field marketing and e-mail marketing.

Marketing Plan Evaluation

Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008

26-marketingmarketingmocom.jpg

The marketing industry is continuously growing and evolving. As long as a need can be created, marketing will exist. Marketing firms use marketing plans to outline and achieve their goals.

Every marketing plan is evaluated to know if the marketing strategies employed by the company are effective. From here, the company is able to know the strengths and weaknesses of a particular marketing plan.

There are several indicators that tell if a marketing plan is successful. One of them is the sales or income. If it is going up, then it means you got it right. There are also the direct responses and repeat business of clients. If the numbers are high, then it’s a sign that the marketing strategy is living up to expectations.
