The fact remains that people aren’t attracted with websites that are dull, colorless (black and white aren’t colors!) and boring. They prefer websites that are interactive. If you think you could sell your goods online with a black and white website (text only with some pictures perhaps), then think again. The look of your website can either impress or depress people (and not wanting them to go back again!).
If you are familiar with HTML coding, then by all means, craft your own template. With this, you can actually have that “personalized look and feel” on your website. But of course, for those of you who aren’t that familiar with the said coding, there are a lot of free websites that offer free templates for you. Free Website Templates is the right place to start. They offer a wide variety of “nice-to-look-at” templates that will surely swoon your future buyers.

Of the many ways by which a mortgage can be marketed, doing it over the phone is the most difficult. Mortgage brokers and loan officers are trained to meet clients face to face, but when a situation dictates that you discuss your product over the phone to a prospective client, you don’t have a choice but to oblige.
Despite the difficulty, attending to clients over the phone is one way to improve your marketing skills. The variety of callers you could attend to is enough training for you to become a better marketing professional. It would help if you will treat each call seriously as this is as an opportunity to market your products to a wider clientele.

The mortgage industry is not in a very good condition these days. But it doesn’t mean brokers and loan officers can slack off while the industry is experiencing bad weather. In fact, this is the perfect time to re-evaluate your performance and identify your weak points and correct them.
Here are some mortgage marketing tips to help mortgage marketing professionals to stay productive and improve sales:
1. Keep distributing business cards. This way, you get noticed and included in people’s list of business references.
2. Remain active. Visibility is very important in a job where physical presence translates to marketing gains and prospects.
3. Always wear your company logo. People are easily remembered and recognized if they represents a particular company. Make sure you wear your company’s badge whenever you go out on a meeting, a seminar or simply when having outdoor lunches.

So, you have a blog where you sell stuff. And you want to increase your hits and in effect, increase your sales (the more people visit your site, the more sales you have) but you don’t know how you’re going to do it since you’re just an independent small-time seller.
Ok, here’s what to do. You have to make sure your URL is NOT long. Some blogging sites only allow you to have sub domains and these sub domains are most of the time, long (i.e. http://yoursite.thenameofthebloghostgoeshereandhypotheticallyitsthislong.com). However, if you already have a blog account in that (rather long) blog host, then URL redirection might work for you.

.co.nr domain hosting is a good website to start off. You can shorten your URL with a http://you.co.nr format.

Job and salary growth are good indicators of how well an employment market for a particular job is. Marketing is one of the fastest-growing industries today. But then, not all marketing-related jobs have improved when it comes to salary last year. Take for example the case internet marketers.
InternetRetailer.com reports that based on the data from Crandall Associates, Inc., the salary of internet marketers barely improved last year. For instance, the salary range for a search engine optimization manager that goes between $61,600 to $77,900 this year is almost similar to last year’s income range that goes between $61,400 to $77,900.
The slight increase is viewed to have been caused by the slowing US economy and the alleged internet maturity. This is sad news but let’s see what happens when America elects its new president in November. I’m sure there will be a big change.

Whichever profession you are in, improving yourself and your work is a must. Responding to challenges and adapting to change are crucial to keep up with competition. In mortgage marketing, the same coping mechanisms apply. You have to learn marketing concepts to succeed in your campaign and build your property sales.
There are old and new mortgage marketing concepts worth using, especially if you are building your career in the field. Brokers and loan officers can use both old and new mortgage marketing concepts to improve their work performance.
Sending out business cards to prospective clients is an old marketing concept that continues to produce good results until this day. On the other hand, joining an online network and creating a mortgage marketing blog are examples of modern marketing concepts that are fast-becoming a trend among marketing professionals. Which one is yours?

Media Coalition is the latest opponent of the 2005 California video game law that makes it illegal for dealers to sell violent and sexually-explicit video games. This was the report from Arstechnica.com last week citing Media Coalition’s filing of an amicus brief before the court.
This news is another manifestation of how media organization uses its influence to avert an industrial crisis targeting certain enterprises. What is wrong with prohibiting the sale of violent and sexually-explicit video games to minors? Isn’t it just right to keep our kids from any stuff that arouses violence and irresponsible sex? I fully support the implementation of the law despite its possible negative effects to business.
